the GTK2 patch set contains alot of junk (comments and commented out old code) as i've started the merging process, it seems better to get it all in and working then tidy up later. basically fix the FIXMES or write them up properly and change the //@@ comments to standard format comments with descriptions. i would do them now but i may not have time to finish it today and i don't want to leave SVN trunk in a broken state.
